This butter dish is more of a dark blue and brown “western” combo.  It has the faux embossed leather look, and faux rivets on the handle. The inside of the top measures approximately 2” wide by 6” long. It is the traditional style butter dish that will fit both regular sizes of butter sold in the US.  The base is a tray style bottom that the top sits on (vs the similar one that the bottom is more of a square style).

This piece is microwave and dishwasher safe!
